Nul doute que ce nouvel album de The Feerics a été (auto)produit en home-studio, pourtant l'essentiel est là : les compositions. Elles sosnt orchestrées à base de guitare ou de piano et alternent envolées instrumentales et passages chantés plus intimistes. La mise en place parfois imparfaite donne un charme aux morceaux de Sons of Freedom (comme la voix féminine sur Internet). On reprend en choeur les refrains (Horse), comme une déclaration d'amour pleine de timidité.
